An LDS look at the Covenants of the Fathers as contained within the Scriptures of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The text will focus on the Abrahamic Covenant consisting of Priesthood, Posterity, and Inheritance. The second half will also take a look at the role of the Matriarch in the choice of the new Patriarch. The choice, responsibility and authority to choose the new Priesthood leader of the extended family belongs to the Matriarch, a concept that is not often recognized.
